Turkish invasion of Syria
What's my opinion on the recent Turkish incursion into Syrian soil?
However, Turkey sees far into the future. An increased autonomy with links to its own Kurdish group in Turkey could pose a dangerous threat to Turkish integrity. So I would really want to see a better alternative to this incursion by Turkey, but I could not see much options. The threat must be neutralized. I do not favor war, but I would like to see terrorism by Kurds be eliminated.

Well firstly, just want to update, a ceasefire has been announced. So at the moment, there is no more fighting between Turks and Kurds.
My view, I do not support Kurdish moves to create an independent Kurdish state. I have no inside information on the relationship between Syrian and Turkish Kurds, so I could not say for sure if there are indeed links between the PKK (Kurdish militant group in Turkey) and the SDF (Kurdish militant group in Syria). So if the Turks say there are, probably there are links. They could have better intelligence.
Again, I do not support Kurdistan, as I believe it is too late to declare an independent state now for the Kurdish people. The Kurds are not being persecuted and chased out simply for being Kurds, so they should just remain with the country that they are right now be loyal to the state. The SDF of Syria are not calling for the independence of the Northern Syria (where they control) but just more autonomy. This is actually a good decision, autonomy, not independence.
